Worship Team / Band Auditions

We are so excited that you have shown interest in auditioning for our worship team / band. We hold open auditions from time to time to give people the opportunity to use their gifts of song and music back unto the Lord. Our process is pretty easy. Here's what you need to do:

1. Fill out this form in its entirety.
    - This gets the ball rolling and lets our Worship Pastor (Pastor Dan) know that your interested and starts that conversation.

2. Record a 1 minute video of you singing or playing any song of your choice and upload that video to this form or email it to worship@newhopeonline.com. This is part of our pre screening process. After your video submission has been reviewed and we feel you will be a good fit for the team, you will receive a call to set up a in person audition. In that audition, we will have you sing a segment of any song that you choose (can be the one you submitted on video) and we will go over a couple of harmony and ear training exercise to see if you hear vocal parts. This precess is pretty quick. 5-10 minutes)

3. Wait to hear back from us. We have a small committee that comes together to make the final decision.

    Luke 12:48 says "To whom much is given, much will be required". This verse speaks to the heart of what we do at New Hope Church. Being apart of the worship team is more than just singing or playing on the stage. We are a reflection of what Christ looks like to our congregation and we live our lives according to His word daily....not just the weekends. "Much is required" looks like being available for rehearsals...being available to sing on Sundays or special services....and being a giver.....this is your time, talents and treasure.
